1. X-Man. Yeah. Uhm. I don't know much about him other that he's dead now and his alternation Cable still runs around with a possible infant Jean Grey. See, I prefer reading something about the X-Men. Whole different series. Yes, I'm nitpicky. I like that series very much or better said... I liked it. Because it was fascinating, had interesting characters and they were like a family. It was great. But that changed a long time ago, now it's a soap opera and everyone bitches at each other, it's just depressing. My favourites wander off to the avengers, there are less characters I like but those at least are trustworthy- everyone bitches at each other but at least there is some humor thrown in and enough dynamic that I don't always ask myself why the heck they are staying together. *rambles on and on*
2. Religion und Kulte (und talismane etc.) Religions and cults... uhm yeah. It's what I do. I love that stuff, I really love it. That's why study it, will get my doctors degree there and make my profession on it. When I have studied all religions I will found the perfect religion on an Island I buy from collections. then I conquer the world.. It is so interesting to see how similar ideas were perceived all over the world and what the people have made of them. Also it makes many modern problems more understandable. But it is also frustrating to see what people do to their religions only because they aren't able to think and read for themselves (I'm talking of YOU, Christianity, Islam!)
3. yaoi/slash still interested in. But not as much as years ago. I read less fanfictions because I have either no time or don't find stuff I like. And I have no time to write things myself, I have tons of incomplete stories... I'm still reading yaoi manga, although I only by them every quarter year. I don't have time to go to the comic shop.
4. die digitale biliothek - (digital library)wouldn't know what to do without. It is very, very handy although some things are overaged. At the moment I own around 4,5 million digital pages. It makes research much easier.
5. schwule Kerle -gay guys. It's a hate-love relationship. I like to read gay literature and squee on gay pairings in the movies. It's possibly the same effect as lesbians are to straight men. However I know my place, I would never squee on real life gay guys because that is disrespectful. I don't see the point in stalking gay guys just for their orientation or because they are pretty. Gay guys are not my real life erotica but some yaoi girls think that (especially in Düsseldorf) and that's when I start on projected embarrassment... maybe that's the reason because I make friends with them easier.
I usually have good gay-dar, however it has a terrible dysfunction: 5 of 7 guys I was ever romantically interested in are gay. And it usually takes weeks and months for me to get it. I must be cursed, I can't explain it another way. It is just not normal on a theoretical demographic of 10% gay men in Germany that I hit on _every_single_one_of_them before finding an interesting straight guy. Take that curse from me!
